The Gurkha Walk this year was even better than previous ones with 500 registered walkers including more women and children. The youngest girl was just four years old and the youngest boy six years old and the oldest walker was ninety four. Some completed the walk on crutches and one invalid carriage was pushed bravely around the course.

Around six hundred revellers including stewards, first aiders, caterers and entertainers enjoyed the fun event with dancing to complete an enjoyable summer event. This happy community event was brilliantly organised and held in the most beautiful grounds of Eastwell Manor Park, Ashford. The proceeds of the event will help in our humanitarian projects including relief work following the earthquake.
